The Start :
The race will start promptly at 11am on the road immediately outside the school.
The Course :
It is a pleasant, scenic, rural course. Please help us keep it that way by discarding litter carefully by the drinks stations, marshal points or KM markers which are all carefully cleared after the race. Course map available here.
Water Stations :
Approximately every 5k
Jelly Babies will be on offer at water stations.
Please aim your gel wrappers at the bins that we provide at each km marker from 10k onwards
Headset Policy :
Under standard UKA rules bone conductor type headsets are allowed. We accept this type of headset with the proviso that our race is run almost entirely on public roads open to traffic. So for your safety and the safety of others runners using bone conductor headsets must ensure that they are completely and fully able to hear the ambient sounds of traffic, other runners and marshals at all times. We love our race – we hope you love our race – safety is critical for the event to be able to continue so please help the cause – if you really really must have them don’t use them like ghetto blasters! Our preference is that you leave them at home.
Cut off time:
The cut off time for the race is 4 hours, subject to Safety Officers decision on the day.
The Finish :
The race finishes on the sports field at the school. When you cross the line, please keep moving, in finishing order, along the funnel. Water and goody bags issued at the end of the funnel.
